This series consists of three solid state, single phase output frequency converters at 10kVA 20kVA or 45kVA. These converters allow the user to duplicate a utility grid of either 50 or 60 hertz for export product testing or operation of imported equipment or 400Hz / 800Hz power for avionics and shipboard applications.

The APF1000 Series converters allow the user to duplicate a utility grid of either 50 or 60 Hertz for export product testing or operation of imported equipment. With its ability to power multiple AC products simultaneously, the APF1000 models are ideally suited for burn-in and test of White Goods and household appliances. On A version models, the frequency can also be adjusted to 400 Hertz for applications such as the testing of military/avionics equipment or for the operation of 400 Hertz electronics that are onboard an aircraft or a military vessel. The adjustable frequency band of 45 to 500 Hertz on B version APF models in conjunction with the dual voltage ranges of 0-155 volts or 0-310 volts provides full capabilities for testing and operating electronics worldwide. Special C versions are available for wild frequency Avionics applications of 300Hz to 840Hz as well.
Setup and operation of the APF 1000 Series is exceptionally easy. The simple front panel color touch screen allows users to vary voltage and frequency or to select preset standard frequency settings. The metering display provides direct readouts for frequency, voltage, current, power or power factor.

Current Overload (Option OL)
The current overload option allows for three overload current levels for varying time durations from 2 seconds to 5 seconds.
Higher Output Voltages (Option V400 or V600)
For applications requiring more than 310V L-N, one of two higher voltage options can be specified at time of order, 400V L-N (V400) or 600V L-N (V600)
The APF1000 Series Power Source is equipped with a powerful microcontroller to create a stable and accurate output frequency, regardless of AC input conditions. It can be programmed to supply a variety of power conditions to the device under test and meters all output parameters.
The APF1000 Series is an excellent source of stable AC voltage over a frequency range of 45 to 500 Hz (A Versions). The output frequency is quartz-crystal stabilized. Output voltages up to 310 VAC or optional 400Vac or 600Vac models are available.
With the ability to provide any single phase voltage and frequency combination found around the world, the APF1000 Series is a great choice for evaluating AC products for worldwide use. In particular, household appliances intended for export to regions of the world with various utility grid voltage and frequency combinations can be tested in high volume using the higher power APF1000 models.
Whenever 400Hz, 115Vac single phase is required to power up shipboard or airborne equipment, the APF1000 A version can do the job. With up to 375A of current available, even large equipment can be powered up.
